Mizuho Global Services is a subsidiary company of Mizuho Bank, Ltd. It was established in 2020 as part of Mizuho's long-term strategy of creating a captive global processing center for remotely handling banking and IT related operations.

As a Network Security Engineer at Mizuho, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems
  • Monitoring network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms
  • Conducting regular network vulnerability assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network security engineering or architecture
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP)

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with network access control solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass)
  • Exposure to SOAR platforms for automated incident response
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework for network threat mapping

This role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments. Excellent documentation and communication skills are also essential.
