Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer in BIW (Body, Innards and Wheel) Development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative BIW solutions that meet the needs of our automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept Design and Development: Develop new concepts and designs for BIW components using advanced CAD design techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Structural Analysis and Simulation: Conduct thorough structural analysis and simulations to optimize BIW performance, including Static & Dynamic simulations, manufacturing feasibility studies, and tooling feasibility assessments.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, including DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly), to develop efficient and cost-effective BIW production methods.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Strong experience in UG NX, Parametric Modelling, and surface modelling. Familiarity with Teamcenter is highly desirable.
  • BIW Expertise: In-depth knowledge of BIW structure, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing.
