Piping System Specialist Opportunity

Piping System Design and Implementation Role

Seeking an experienced Piping System Specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Design and develop piping systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine suitable piping solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings including isometric and orthographic views.
  • Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure piping system integrity and safety.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless integration of piping systems.
  • Review and approve vendor documents and drawings.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor piping system installation and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues or discrepancies during design construction or operation phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles codes and standards (ASME ANSI API etc).
  • Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc).
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II ANSYS etc).
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

This opportunity requires a highly skilled Piping System Specialist to drive the design development and implementation of piping systems. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and significant experience working as a Piping Engineer in the energy sector. Strong knowledge of piping design principles codes and standards ASME ANSI API etc is essential along with proficiency in using piping design software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks and familiarity with stress analysis software like CAESAR II ANSYS.

Able to perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure piping system integrity and safety the successful candidate will also be able to coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless integration of piping systems.
