Backend Data Engineer

A key role awaits in our organization for a highly skilled Backend Data Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in transforming raw on-chain data into actionable insights.

  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols, such as Uniswap and Curve.
  • Build and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing and liquidity pool math.
  • Work closely with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust.
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working directly with blockchain nodes or building custom RPC-based services.
  • Familiarity with price oracles and on-chain data feeds.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
