Architectural Project Lead

The role of the Senior Architect is to oversee and manage architectural projects from conceptualization to completion.

This includes developing project designs, creating detailed drawings, and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) within allocated budgets.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, residential, and institutional architecture, with excellent knowledge of building technologies and environmental design.
  • They will work closely with a team of professionals, including building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists.
  • Additionally, the Senior Architect will coordinate with Project coordinators, Architecture/Structural and MEP Consultants & Liaison Architects, while ensuring compliance with technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and health & safety regulations.
  • The successful candidate must possess a Diploma/Bachelors/Masters in Architecture and have experience working in a similar boutique company environment.
  • They should have foreign school of education or work experience, with added advantages of having worked on various architectural projects.
  • Prior experience in drafting technical drawings, material product applications, and project execution is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Developing project designs, creating detailed drawings, and preparing BOQs within allocated budgets.
  • Working closely with a team of professionals, including building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists.
  • Coordinating with Project coordinators, Architecture/Structural and MEP Consultants & Liaison Architects.
  • Ensuring compliance with technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and health & safety regulations.
  • Preparing BOQs and monitoring their updates.
  • Providing assistance on projects as necessary and overseeing the provision of support staff.
  • Traveling to project sites and client meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Bachelors/Masters in Architecture.
  • 10-13 years of experience in a similar boutique company environment.
  • Foreign school of education or work experience.
  • Prior experience in drafting technical drawings, material product applications, and project execution.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confident interactions with clients.
  • Discipline and systematic approach to work deliverables.
