Global Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Global Data Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in governing and maintaining the OASIS platform for Master Data Governance. This position ensures that all master data requests (Customers, Vendors, Materials) are processed through OASIS workflows and integrated with SAP PCE, in compliance with client's global governance standards, APAP processes, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own the OASIS Master Data Governance platform, ensuring system stability, enhancements, and alignment with global master data policies.
  • Define and maintain governance workflows in OASIS for Customers, Vendors, and Materials in coordination with domain experts.
  • Ensure seamless integration between OASIS workflows and SAP PCE workflows.
  • Collaborate with Business Governance and IT Domain Experts to translate governance rules into OASIS technical processes.
  • Implement governance controls in OASIS to enforce proper documentation uploads, Dow Jones screening triggers, validation rules, and act as the escalation point for OASIS-related issues.
  • Drive system improvements, automation, and reporting for Master Data requests handled through OASIS.
  • Provide global training and user support for OASIS workflows.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring traceability and compliance of Master Data requests.

To succeed in this role, you should possess 5-7 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Master Data Governance systems, functional and technical knowledge of SAP Customer, Vendor, and Material Master data, expertise in workflow design and integration, hands-on experience in Master Data request processes, and familiarity with compliance frameworks and global data harmonization models.

You should also have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process improvement skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with both business stakeholders and IT teams.
