Global Financial Controller Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Global Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance controllership and consolidations, with experience driving business growth and ensuring financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month End Activities: Oversee the month end activities performed by the team, including journal entry review through Blackline, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare comprehensive BS and P&L flux analysis in collaboration with stakeholders, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct thorough BS reconciliation of GLs, ensuring all necessary backups are available and well-documented, and provide feedback to team members with clear action plans.
  • Audit Support: Provide expert guidance to Audit and Tax teams on ad-hoc and regular queries, maintaining a high level of professionalism and expertise.
  • Simplification Projects: Drive simplification projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop solutions to address multiple stakeholders' queries, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Team Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships between the team and stakeholders, ensuring seamless information exchange.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation via transformation projects, streamlining manual activities and improving productivity.
  • Culture Development: Coach and mentor team members to build a strong, cohesive team culture.
Requirements:
  • Hold a CA qualification with 6-10+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership / Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of Accounting Standards and their application, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Have experience handling reconciliations, month-end close, and transformation projects, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Be an effective team handler with experience managing multiple stakeholders from different global regions.
  • Possess excellent Excel skills and be proficient in ERP systems, such as SAP, with knowledge of Blackline and Oracle FCCS & PBCS a plus.
