Job Description

The Engineering Functional Excellence (EFE) organization is focused on accelerating innovation and organic growth. EFE aims to optimize and standardize processes, leveraging best-in-class tools, and fostering collaboration across functions to achieve a 2X throughput goal.

We are seeking a strategic leader for our Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Program Management and/or Engineering leadership, with a proven track record of handling multiple global portfolios.

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and leadership to the PMO functions, ensuring alignment with the organization's short-term & long-term objectives.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement PMO policies, procedures, and best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on programs and portfolio performance, using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership and key stakeholders (Business Unit, IT, Finance etc.) to ensure effective communication and alignment of program and portfolio initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced program managers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation within the PMO, continuously seeking ways to improve processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A graduate degree in engineering or a related field, with a Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • PMI accreditation is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive results and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing new processes, systems, and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing PMO policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and reporting on program and portfolio performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the PMO.
  • Driving innovation and process improvements within the PMO.
