Known for their innovative approach and commitment to quality, they have established a strong presence in the market.Job DescriptionReporting to the Deputy MD and a member of executive board you will be responsible for:Participating in the development of the company's technical vision, ensuring that it is implemented, and guiding the local development department during its implementationManaging the technical/engineering side at local levelEnsuring sales support for acquiring new ordersExecuting customer projects in adherence to the schedules and budgetsImplementing standardization tasks across business divisionsImplementing market-driven product development in accordance with the guidelines of product management and in consultation with the Group CTOMonitoring and controlling the technical side of the operational business at local levelManagement tasks including employee/talent developmentThe Successful ApplicantA successful Director- Engineering should have15+ years in engineering for industrial automation, with at least 3-4 years in a senior leadership role, managing multi-disciplinary teams in a project-based manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent); advanced degree in engineering or management is an advantageStrong technical skills with hands-on experience in both mechanical and controls engineering. Knowledgeable in linear motion solutions, material handling, and automation technologies is a plus.
