Senior Cloud Platform Developer

Our organization is seeking a seasoned cloud platform developer to design and implement scalable, resilient, and efficient platforms that support our strategic goals and drive innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure infrastructure.
  2. Define and enforce best practices for patch management, server software deployment, and disk space remediation.
  3. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
  5. Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and internal security standards.
  6. Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing risks and inefficiencies.
  7. Drive automation and process improvements to reduce toil and increase reliability.
  8. Contribute to infrastructure roadmap planning and capacity forecasting.
  9. Partner with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including AWS and Azure infrastructure, Active Directory, and GPO.
  • Proficient in Ansible automation, especially in writing playbooks and roles for patching, reporting, and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle and remediation planning.
  • Experience in administering Group policy and Active Directory for server management, access control, and compliance enforcement.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Powershell, YAML) for automation tasks and system integration.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and AMI Baking/image lifecycle management.
  • Strong problem-solving, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure Infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge in scripting like Python.
  • Advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Advanced knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, or Team Foundation Server.
  • Adept in System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration.
  • Understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies), Microsoft Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
