We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineering Lead to join our team.

Job Description

The Test Engineering Lead will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of efficient, effective and scalable solutions for a wide range of problems. This individual will design, develop, build and maintain QA solutions and processes, as well as coach and guide team members on QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing at various levels into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on QA best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in API testing and/or contract testing.
  • Experience integrating testing at various levels into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to technically analyze a problem and a solution and recognize the right level of detail and abstraction to lead discussions with different stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills: written & verbal.
  • A sound understanding of agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD, ATDD and TDD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong coding and scripting ability in Java and/or Ruby.
  • Knowledge of Docker and AWS (public cloud).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Kafka is desirable.
  • Experience with mocking tools such as Wiremock.
