Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a prestigious business school. The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process, including outreach, inquiry, application, and enrolment. They will create and execute strategic plans to meet enrolment goals, conduct campus tours, manage student records, and provide excellent service to prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing, and overseeing outreach initiatives to foster partnerships with key customers both internally and externally
  • Managing student records and contact potential parents to arrange meetings to address queries and provide customer service support
  • Handling admission walk-ins, attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to find new opportunities, and fostering a brand marketing strategy to expand the brand for sustainable growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and ability to develop and execute strategic enrolment plans
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, experience in admissions, and experience with student records management and/or customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field, Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Indian educational system and cultural values, experience as an Admissions Manager at a university with 1000+ students
