Shopify E-commerce Website Developer">

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shopify e-commerce website developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. This includes working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify e-commerce websites to meet client requirements.
  • Extend theme's functionality for custom cart, filters, and other requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or Tailwind/MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Qualification:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify app ecosystem.
  • Experience with API testing and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores.
