Smart Buildings Specialist

  • Develop and implement end-to-end engineering for Building Management Systems (BMS) projects from India Engineering Center.
  • Review MEP drawings, identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors to ensure system efficiency.
  • Generate RFIs, initial review sheets, and prepare Bill of Materials for BMS hardware/software packages.
  • Design BMS network architecture, select sensors, control valves, actuators, and controllers to optimize system performance.
  • Program supervisory and DDC level controllers; prepare test plans and simulate systems to ensure quality delivery.
  • Maintain process adherence and compliance with country-specific standards to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Required Skills & Expertise
  • BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, and hot water systems.
  • Hands-on experience in BMS architecture, Operator Workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators.
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as BACNet, LON, Modbus, and OPC.
  • Proficient in wiring, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels to ensure system reliability.
  • Experience in engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC/BMS systems.
  • Industrial Automation (PLC programming/SCADA) experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, quick learning ability, and effective communication skills to lead teams effectively.
  • Leadership mindset with ability to guide and mentor teams.
