Job Role: P&E Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Professional & Engineering (P&E) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and skills in elevator engineering, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough elevator traffic analysis using specialized software to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in design review meetings and workshops to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Prepare detailed traffic analysis summaries for stakeholder approval and submit Civil Dimension matrices for all finalized lift configurations.
  • Coordinate with the drafting team to ensure tender drawing submissions meet required standards.
  • Support clients during vendor discussions to ensure their needs are met.
  • Oversee the completion of project stage documents to ensure timely submission and progression.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Civil).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of field experience in the Elevator industry.
  • Proficient in Lifts and Escalator installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Excellent technical understanding of Elevator, Escalator, and Advanced People Flow solutions.
  • Ability to read VHT GA drawings.
  • AutoCAD 2017 or higher proficiency - ability to read drawings and understand.
  • Microsoft 365, MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Lifts and Escalator installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Excellent technical understanding of Elevator, Escalator, and Advanced People Flow solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Proficient in reading VHT GA drawings.

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
