Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Assistant Manager in our Compliance and Operations department. This position is ideal for someone with experience in AIF/PMS/Mutual Funds or compliance.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational workflow of Category III AIF, ensuring that all transactions are within regulatory and fund-specific boundaries. Key responsibilities include periodically reviewing exposure, drawdowns, and investor commitments against fund documents and regulatory limits; conducting pre- and post-trade compliance checks; and drafting and updating internal compliance checklists, SOPs, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct thorough background checks on investors and counterparties
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to minimize risk
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of operations
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in AIF/PMS/Mutual Funds or compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
