Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and developing the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.

  1. Define and develop the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects.
  2. Lead a team of artists, including modelers, texture artists, and animators.
  3. Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure art aligns with project goals and technical limitations.
  4. Develop and maintain the 3D art pipeline and production workflow, ensuring efficient creation and integration of assets.
  5. Review all art assets and deliverables to maintain high artistic quality and consistency.
  6. Create initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate artistic direction to the team and stakeholders.
  7. Ensure timely completion of all art deliverables.

The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date on industry trends, new software, and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices and innovate production techniques.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior artist role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
  • Experience with texturing and sculpting tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of technical art fundamentals, such as modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and optimization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting concepts and providing clear feedback.
