Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in manual and automated testing, as well as experience working with OTT platforms.

The successful candidate will have the ability to perform comprehensive testing across various platforms including iOS, Android, Smart TVs, and Web applications. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining robust test automation scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites tailored to OTT applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to log, track, and resolve bugs using tools like JIRA.
  • Conduct thorough API testing using tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
  • Use tools like Charles Proxy to analyze network traffic and debug streaming performance issues.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 to 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience testing OTT platforms (Amazon Prime, Zee5, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Cucumber.
  • Solid background in both manual and automated testing.
  • Familiar with TDD, Agile development methodologies, and sprint-based QA planning.
  • Proficient with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Experience using network debugging tools like Charles Proxy.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
