Quality Assurance Professional

Our company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services, and we're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team.

This role involves designing, documenting, and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance. They will also conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications.

In addition, the Quality Assurance professional will report, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking tool, collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps during sprints and release cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.
  • Perform manual functional testing and contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.
  • Test APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Report, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking tool.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.
  • Familiarity with tools & frameworks: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (Web), Appium / Espresso / XCUITest (Mobile), Postman / REST Assured / JMeter (API).
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
