We seek an experienced professional to join our team as a Public Policy Specialist. The Private Office is a leading boutique advisory firm specializing in providing confidential and strategic public policy & legal services to a select clientele. We focus on delivering bespoke solutions that address complex regulatory and fiscal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret legal and tax regulations to advise on policy development and advocacy strategies.
  • Engage with government officials, industry representatives, and other stakeholders to monitor regulatory changes and represent the firm's interests.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape related to areas of expertise.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations to communicate complex legal and tax matters in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure a coordinated approach to policy challenges.
  • Implement risk management strategies to protect the firm and its clients from policy-related uncertainties.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all interactions and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Qualified CA, Public Policy, Economics, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in public policy, legal affairs, or a related field, with a proven track record in a consultancy or advisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of legal, tax, and regulatory issues.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work discreetly on confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
