Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights. Your expertise in financial analysis and data modeling will enable you to create reporting infrastructure and dashboards that support business process management.

You will be responsible for deep-diving various data sources to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of financial issues. Your analytical skills will help uncover new insights that inform key financial decisions across the organization.

In this role, you will also prepare reports at regular cadences and conduct ad-hoc data mining and analysis to drive managerial decisions and focused improvement efforts. Your ability to present recommendations and insights effectively will influence decision-making.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in discussions involving dashboards, data decisions, and deploying reporting systems. You will prioritize BI tasks, share necessary insights, and track program metrics to ensure all programs provide the desired business benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure and dashboards for business process management.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of financial issues.
  • Prepare reports at regular cadences and conduct ad-hoc data mining and analysis.
  • Present recommendations and insights effectively to influence decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in discussions involving dashboards and data decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced level quantitative analytical skills, including statistical techniques for clustering analysis, financial data modeling, forecasting, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of BI tools, such as Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Superior communication and storytelling skills (both written and verbal).
  • A master's or bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or Business.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in the financial analytics field in a data-driven company or function.
