Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering organization, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the high availability and fault tolerance of our Contact Center service.

We believe in a DevOps philosophy where every engineering team is responsible for the software they build and deploy. SREs like you will ensure that teams have the tools, practices, and expertise to make that happen in a blame-free culture.

Our mission is to improve developers' experience by giving them the tools to manage the entire software lifecycle and be self-sufficient. To achieve this, we're building our own internal PaaS using the latest technologies like Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kotlin, and others.

This platform is an important pillar of our engineering effort and helps us deliver better, faster, and more reliable solutions for our customers.

  • Design, build, harden, and maintain key parts of our internal platform
  • Migrate to industry-leading CICD tools like GitHub Actions
  • Automate safe deployment practices using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Helm Charts, etc.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and other engineering processes
  • Coach and up-skill other engineering team members
  • Solve challenging technical problems and see immediate impact
  • Develop effective tooling, alerts, and response to identify and address reliability risks
  • Drive protocols on production readiness and operational excellence
  • Partner with product engineering teams to debug production outages

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience, a deep understanding of large-scale complex systems from a reliability perspective, and a passion for clean, standards-compliant code. We're looking for someone with a developer mindset, Linux/Unix system knowledge, and experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Ruby, Python, Bash, relational and non-relational databases, and the ability to identify manual tasks and automate them.

Requirements: Strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud computing; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to Haves: Experience with cloud-based solutions, CI/CD platforms, Containers, Artifact Management tools, Go programming language.
