Nakshatra Systems is looking forward to hire a linux software repository maintainer who can service and manage the integrity of a software repository (update/upgrade/patch etc).This is not a system's administrator profile job.Looking for immediate joiners.This is a full time contract job of 1 year - work from home.Candidate will have to sign a legal agreement that will include NDA and NCA.Vacancy : 1Minimum experience needed : 0 - 2 yearsNote:=====Since nature is work from home, a good broadband internet connection with IPv6 facility is mandatory for remote logins and work, failing to which contract can be terminated immediately.Required technical skills :=============================Proficient in linux, bash scripting, C and python.Compiling and creating software from source code.(knowledge of gcc and its cflags dflags prefix etc)Knowledge of build system tools like autotools , meson, ninja, cmake, make, pkg-config, scons etcKeeping track of software dependencies.Patching - creating / providing / managing software patches.Ability to understand and create Makefiles as necessary.Monitoring and staying current with CVE's.Maintaining Changelogs and other documentation.Providing bug fixes.
