Seeking a seasoned Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough performance testing to identify bottlenecks, assess system responsiveness, and guarantee application stability under various loads.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
  • Identify and report defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, as well as verify fixes.
  • Document test results, track defects, and maintain accurate testing records.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web and performance testing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in performance/load testing of microservices and web applications.
  • Experience in analyzing CPU utilization, Memory usage, Network usage.
  • Strong knowledge in programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong knowledge in testing tools and frameworks, such as Pytest, Allure.
  • Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, Postman or any open source performance testing tool.
  • Experience in AWS -S3, Cloud watch, Data Dog.
  • Strong knowledge of Lambda, Kafka, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with SQL and the ability to write database queries.
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking in JIRA.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
