Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer with 4+ years of experience to fill this key position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Scala programming language.
  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and services that meet our business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Product Management.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum development environments that prioritize collaboration and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Scala programming language.
  • Strong understanding of functional programming concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in Akka, Play Framework, or Spark technologies.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Good knowledge of Concurrency and Multithreading in Scala programming language.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases that support our business operations.
  • Experience working with Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines, and Docker/Kubernetes platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
