About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Scala Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance applications using Scala.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable applications using Scala.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product.
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Scala.
  • Strong understanding of functional programming concepts.
  • Proficiency in Akka, Play Framework, or Spark.
  • Experience with RESTful API development.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
