Network Operations Specialist

The role of Network Operations Specialist is to oversee the support of customer services and ensure seamless network performance.

This involves managing and resolving technical issues related to existing customer services, communicating with customers verbally and in writing, and providing third-line support for complex customer queries and escalations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and escalating technical issues to relevant teams and stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing solutions to resolve technical issues and improve network performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and enhance customer experience
  • Performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure network stability and security
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform technical decision-making

Technical requirements include:

  • Expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including OSPF and BGP
  • Experience with Cisco NAC ISE, SD-A/DNAC, and DOT1x
  • Knowledge of wireless networks, switching, and routing technologies
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat analysis
  • Ability to interpret packet capture data and troubleshoot complex network issues

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • CCNP or JNCIP-ENT certification
  • Advanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
