Your Role and Responsibilities :


The Manager, Platform Architecture & Automation will lead a team of architects and engineers in designing, building, and deploying technology platform operations strategy, roadmaps, and automation. This role requires alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles and IT Infrastructure strategies and roadmaps.


Key Responsibilities Include :


Lead and manage the Platform Architecture & Automation team, ensuring high-quality solutions and services that meet business and IT stakeholder needs and expectations.


Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for the Technology Platform Operations Team, ensuring alignment with IT Infrastructure, business objectives, and IT strategy.


Lead the Proof of Concept (POC) execution for new technologies and solutions, evaluating their feasibility, scalability, and value proposition. Plan the Life Cycle Management (LCM) and technical debt reduction for existing technology platforms, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.


Define and communicate the vision, mission, and goals of the Platform Architecture & Automation team, aligning them with IT Infrastructure objectives and priorities. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure, and other IT and business teams to ensure technology platform operations strategy and roadmaps are consistent, coherent, and feasible.


Enable and promote automation across the technology platform domain, using infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous delivery tools and practices.


Manage the portfolio and financial management of technology platform operations, ensuring optimization of investments and resources. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and professional communication and support.


Develop and mentor the Platform Architecture & Automation team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical knowledge and skills across IT infrastructure domains, such as network, storage, compute, security, and automation. Proficiency in using infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous delivery tools and practices is required.


The Manager, Platform Architecture & Automation should have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills are necessary, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are also required, with the ability to balance competing priorities and risks.
