Job Description

As a key contributor to our technology team, you will lead complex Cloud initiatives with broad impact. Your expertise in JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, and other technologies will enable you to automate the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code.

You will design, optimize, and document the Engineering aspects of the Cloud platform, making decisions on developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions.

With 7+ years of experience in JAVA, Spring Boot, and related technologies, you will review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions in Cloud for strategic business objectives and solve technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple parameters.

Collaborating with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups, you will resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. You will also build and enable cloud infrastructure, automate the orchestration of the entire Azure/GCP Cloud Platforms.

Key Duties:
  • Lead complex Cloud initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key contributor in automating the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as a Code
  • Make decisions in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions
  • Design, optimization and documentation of the Engineering aspects of the Cloud platform
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions in Cloud for strategic business objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Build and enable cloud infrastructure, automate the orchestration of the entire Azure/GCP Cloud Platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications

With expertise in full stack application development, domain driven design, and cloud native microservices, you will have 4+ years of experience in JAVA, 3+ years working with GCP or alternate public/hybrid cloud, and a proven track record for the below mentioned skills.

Experience working in Agile environment and product backlog refinement against ongoing engineering work, Agile at scale, conducting discoveries and process improvements to accelerate software development.

  • 7+ years of experience with JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches (GemFire, Redis), Elastic Search technologies, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra or Mongo), Graph Databases, Public Cloud Marketplace services
  • Full stack application development is a plus
  • Domain Driven Design experience with cloud native Microservices designed and developed for massive scale and seamless resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMWare Tanzu, K8s or Serverless cloud technologies
  • System level testing through code (unit-level testing) and Experience identifying and contributing to automation frameworks and synthetic tests for policy validation
  • Overall 4+ years of experience, 3+ years working with GCP or alternate public/hybrid cloud and a proven track record for the below mentioned skills
