  • Optimize database (SQL calls) for maximum performance.
  • Collaborate with management on performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Contribute to operational processes and performance improvement.
  • Prior experience with SQL and stored routines is essential.
  • HA Proxy, ProxySQL, or MaxScale expertise is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AWS database technologies like Aurora, RDS is desirable.
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose data and database issues.

Requirements

  • 4 years of MySQL management experience are required.
  • Experience in configuring HA and clustering solutions for MySQL is necessary.
  • Large-scale MySQL deployments are mandatory.
  • MySQL sharding architecture and techniques are required.
  • Linux/Unix OS environment experience is crucial.
  • MS SQL experience is a bonus.
  • Software as a service industry experience is beneficial.
  • Cloud experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and professional skills are vital.
  • Ability to plan and manage operational processes efficiently.
  • Problem-solving, customer needs anticipation, and prioritization are essential.
