**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collecting and analyzing requirements to inform business decisions.
  • Developing a deep understanding of hedge fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations.
  • Collaborating with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.
  • Improving processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Working with technology teams to optimize fund accounting platforms (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, Eagle, Calypso, Charles River, or proprietary systems).
  • Identifying areas for improvement, streamlining reconciliations, automating manual processes, and ensuring data integrity.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Strong knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts, including NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures, side pockets, and share classes.
  • Experience with fund administration systems, such as Geneva, Investran, Advent, or equivalent.
  • Business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, and documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Effective stakeholder communication skills.
