Job Description

As a Cloud Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools and services enabling end-user productivity and system integrations. You will collaborate with product owners and team members on requirements and implementation approaches for addressing demand and challenges.

You will ensure Transunion design patterns, frameworks, and architectural standards are implemented consistently across the organization.

Additionally, you will partner with business resources to troubleshoot issues, manage capacity, and plan for the optimization and expansion of environments.

You will also assist in technology innovation activities such as research, evaluations, and prototyping.

Lastly, you will train, coach, and support users on environment, tools, and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Seven or more years of hands-on experience in a system administration and/or software development profession

• Proficiency working in a Linux-based environment, including scripting and system administration

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python

• Proficiency with one (or more) automation tools, must – Ansible, AWS CFT or Terraform, preferred – Puppet, Chef

• Experience of working on Cloud Infrastructure/deployment work preferably with AWS Cloud with broad experience on services like AWS CFT, Lambda, IAM, EKS

• Experience working on teams operating under an Agile Scrum or Kanban delivery methodology

• Experience working within CI/CD environments and a passion for automation and system quality. Experience on tools like Jenkin, Git is desirable

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
