We are seeking a Mental Health Advisor to contribute to our growth journey in Bangalore.

About the Role:

  1. Assist users experiencing abuse, mental health, and trauma through voice and non-voice interactions.
  2. Conduct comprehensive user assessments, evaluating symptoms, identifying risk factors, and formulating customized plans.
  3. Provide crisis intervention, including assessing for safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals for further care when necessary.
  4. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available to support their well-being.
  5. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions, adhering to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  7. Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about current developments in the field and pursuing opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote awareness about Abuse, Trauma, Mental health to reduce stigma and advocate for holistic wellness.

Necessary Qualifications:

  1. Master's Degree in Psychology or Counselling.
  2. Preferred candidates specialized in counselling psychology.
  3. Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
  4. Typing speed of 30-35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
  5. Demonstrated ability to empathize with individuals who have experienced abuse or injustice, and to provide compassionate support and understanding.
  6. Deep understanding of the importance of mental health and well-being, and a commitment to promoting mental health awareness and support.
  7. Collaborative team player with a structured and conceptual approach to work.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
