About the Role:

  • This position involves creating and preparing patent applications for inventions in Information and Communication Technologies.
  • Key responsibilities include drafting patent applications, delivering prosecution projects, and developing response strategies for office actions.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in crafting claim sets that meet US and EP patent standards.
  • In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring team members on multiple technical areas and providing direction and guidance.
  • The role also requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
  • Other key tasks include analyzing issues, implementing best practices, and recommending improvements to enhance team performance and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology from a reputable institution is required.
  • Domain knowledge in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in patent drafting for the US jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting 50+ patent applications for the US domain is highly desirable.
