Blockchain and NodeJS Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain and NodeJS software engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design and development, with a focus on blockchain technology and the NodeJS framework.

  • Software Design and Development: Develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software systems using object-oriented programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Rust, and/or C++.
  • NodeJS Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the NodeJS framework, with experience designing and implementing APIs for internal and external services.
  • Databases: Experience designing and maintaining relational databases to support large-scale, data-intensive applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Genius Yield's internal and external software systems.
  • Develop backend services and features to support cloud-based applications.
  • Craft code that is maintainable and incorporates engineering best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing and production.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams to design and deploy reliable and performant systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, or 2+ years with an advanced degree.
