Job Description

Overall Role:

The Operations Head is a senior-level position responsible for leading the operational functions of our organization. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and coordinate various departments to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan workflows and schedules for production departments to ensure efficient production and timely delivery.
  • Monitor production status, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure that finished products meet quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for resolving production issues, implementing strategies to improve productivity, and promoting a culture of discipline and excellence.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and periodic reviews to continuously improve processes.
  • Lead change management initiatives, develop best practices with support from the HSE team, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate events and operational results to support revising and updating site policies and procedures.
  • Lead a continuous improvement culture among team members, facilitate knowledge transfer initiatives, and drive excellence in operations.
  • Identify opportunities for joint improvement projects among departments, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in new product development and enhancements, participate in project delay recovery plans, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Cordinate with maintenance teams to ensure maximum equipment availability for operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in production, project management, planning, and fabrication manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy structural piping and vessel fabrication.
  • Good knowledge of NDT and Welding.
  • Adequate knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations such as DIN, ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and lead change management and be a good team player.
