Job Title: GCP Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to assume a key role in the BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Google Cloud Big Data tools, advanced data visualization techniques, and collaborative work environments.

  • Collaborate with data science teams to develop and implement sophisticated algorithms and analytical solutions that drive business value.
  • Utilize agile development practices to enhance back-end systems and improve overall system performance.
  • Design and model front-end and back-end data flows to enable deeper business insights and informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines that efficiently clean, transform, and aggregate data to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Create predictive models that deliver actionable insights for the BFSI business and drive meaningful growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Big Data tools – BigQuery, Airflow, CI/CD.
  • A strong foundation in Spark, Hive, Core Java, Linux, and scripting languages.
  • Experience in ETL design, build, and maintenance to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau or R to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Professional certification in GCP Data Engineer or related fields (preferred).
  • BFSI domain experience is highly desirable.
