Job Title: Technical Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead to lead technical aspects of software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Provide architectural oversight and conduct code/design reviews to ensure quality assurance.
  • Tech Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements in the capital markets domain.
  • Team Guidance: Guide teams in developing and supporting high-availability, secure financial applications.
  • DevOps Management: Manage smooth DevOps processes and lead L3 production support.
Technical Delivery:
  • Architecture Design: Lead architecture, design, and development of web-based enterprise applications using Java (JSP, Struts, EJB).
  • Design Review: Review and approve designs, technical specifications, and architecture artifacts.
  • Code Quality: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintainability.
  • Event Driven Architecture: Implement event-driven architecture for real-time systems.
  • Integration and Deployment: Integrate and deploy on IBM WAS, Apache, Tomcat, and Windows environments.
  • SQL Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries and data access on IBM DB2.
Application Development & Maintenance:
  • Development Drive: Drive development using JSP, Struts, EJB, and event-driven architecture.
  • Integration and Deployment: Oversee integration and deployment on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Tomcat, Apache.
  • Messaging and Event Processing: Implement messaging and event processing using IBM MQ.
  • Backend Operations: Optimize backend operations with IBM DB2 and complex SQL queries.
  • Platform Scalability: Ensure platform scalability, availability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
Platform Management:
  • Core Module Management: Manage core modules such as Investor and Broker eServices Platforms, Electronic Contract Note (ECN) Management, Securities Settlements and Depository Applications, Corporate Actions.
DevOps and QA:
  • CICD Pipeline Setup: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • QA Team Anchorage: Anchor the QA team dedicated for specific set of applications for test strategy, QA reviews, and quality compliance.
  • L3 Support: Manage L3 support, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Regulated Entity Interaction: Work with Depositories, MIIs, Brokers, Banks, and other regulated entities.
  • Solution Translation: Translate business requirements into scalable and secure solutions.
Governance and Reviews:
  • Design and Code Reviews: Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Java expertise.
  • Experience with JSP, Struts, EJB.
  • WebSphere Application Server (WAS) knowledge.
  • DB2 database management skills.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
