We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our team of experts in advancing the capabilities of large language models. This role involves creating complex biological problems, analyzing model responses, and identifying gaps in logic or understanding.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. They should possess strong research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.

Responsibilities:

  • Create biology problems for testing large language models
  • Analyze model responses and identify gaps in logic or understanding
  • Evaluate the reasoning behind researcher claims about immune signaling
  • Review student proposed strategies for studying plant stress genes

Eligibility Criteria:

  • PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Stable computer and internet access

About the Role:

This is a contractor assignment/freelancer role with a duration of 1 month. The selected candidate will be required to commit at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week, or 40 hrs/week.
