SQL Server Database Administrator Job

This role involves managing commercial-grade business applications with expertise in SQL Server Database Administration.

  • 3-5 years of experience in production server management, SSIS package development and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL transactional replication, implementing and managing change tracking systems for database auditing.
  • Proficiency in configuring TLS encryption and certificate management for SQL Server security.
  • Working knowledge of SAN technologies and third-party monitoring tools.
  • Expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

This is a long-term contract position fully remote from India.

About the Role

The SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's SQL Server infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and monitoring databases to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in production server management.
