Job Overview

This role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT operations and experience with BigPanda.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize BigPanda integrations: Collaborate with the team to design and implement custom solutions for streamlining incident management and automating alerting processes.
  • Design and implement integrations with monitoring and alerting tools: Develop seamless data flow and event correlation between BigPanda and various monitoring, alerting, and ticketing tools used within the organization.
  • Collaborate on incident management workflows: Work with stakeholders to define and implement efficient incident management workflows within the BigPanda platform.
  • Create custom applications and tools: Develop custom applications and tools to extend the functionality of BigPanda and integrate it with other internal systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a BigPanda Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in working with the BigPanda platform and its APIs
  • Experience in developing integrations with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, New Relic, Prometheus, PagerDuty)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go for custom application development
  • Familiarity with incident management and ITIL processes is advantageous
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments
