Geospatial AI User Experience Designer

We are seeking a seasoned UI/UX Designer to lead the design strategy and user experience of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive design strategy aligned to business goals and product objectives.
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides for visual and functional consistency.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers and partners.
  • Implement actionable design improvements balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
  • Champion UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.
  • Run design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyze outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience in UI/UX Design with proficiency in Figma, Miro, and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and UX best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for geospatial AI and its applications in agriculture.
