Senior Frontend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building the front-end of a new internal ratings platform for a major financial services client.

This cutting-edge platform will unify various risk and credit scores into a single interface, serving as the primary workflow tool for analysts across the firm.

As a senior frontend developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end components using Angular with a focus on reactive programming. This will involve implementing features based on provided JIRA tickets, participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and maintaining a responsive, intuitive, and scalable user interface for internal users.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess strong proficiency in Angular reactive programming (RxJS, Observables, etc.) and experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is also essential. Bonus points if you have experience in financial services or enterprise-grade platforms, knowledge of state management tools (e.g., NgRx), or exposure to workflow or ratings systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end codebase using Angular and its ecosystem.
  • Implement features based on JIRA tickets and prioritize tasks according to business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical debt.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required skills:

  • Angular 12+ and its ecosystem (RxJS, Observables, etc.).
  • RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
  • Good understanding of design patterns and software architecture.
