Job Summary

This role entails spearheading investment promotion and economic growth initiatives, serving as the strategic interface between international governments/economic development organizations and potential investors (Indian companies).

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Bolster relationships with government agencies, trade bodies, and international economic development entities.
    • Function as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their investment promotion objectives are realized.
  • Business Development & Project Delivery
    • Identify and pursue novel opportunities for investment promotion in client geographies, overseeing ongoing investment promotion projects in tandem with Economic Development Agencies.
    • Compile and present compelling proposals, project plans, and strategic recommendations.
  • International Market Expansion & FDI Advisory
    • Analyze sectoral trends to pinpoint potential investors for targeted geographies.
    • Facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and investment promotion events.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in investment promotion, economic development, international trade, market-entry consulting, or business development with governments/trade bodies.
  • Industry acumen: global trade, manufacturing, services, technology, life sciences, etc.
  • Networking prowess: Strong CXO-level engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Research and analysis capability: interpret market intelligence and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; confident presenter to senior stakeholders.
