Legal Expert for Supply Chain Finance

We seek an experienced legal professional to lead and manage the supply chain finance function.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory, with a proactive approach to risk management and business growth support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management
    • Draft, negotiate, and finalize financing documents and agreements in alignment with organizational requirements.
    • Ensure timely execution of financing documents and manage contractual risks.
    • Provide expert experience in contract documentation related to supply chain finance and lending.
  • Regulatory Updates
    • Monitor case laws, statutes, and regulatory changes impacting the organization.
    • Offer timely legal interpretations to support transactions.
    • Provide strategic advice on proposed legislation affecting business operations.
  • Best Practices
    • Develop and implement best practices to minimize exposure.
    • Independently manage contract documentation for corporate lending.
    • Provide insights across the lending lifecycle from customer acquisition to recovery.
  • Timelines & Reporting
    • Ensure timely closure of all contract documentation and assigned matters.
    • Maintain records of work completed, meetings attended, and external engagements.
Experience & Expertise
  • Hands-on experience in supply chain finance and NBFC guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of corporate laws and financial statements.
  • Proven collaboration with business and credit teams to optimize processes.
