Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Description:

We seek a seasoned professional to manage and maintain our Oracle database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases on Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Develop and execute database scripts using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Implement RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular backups and validation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve database performance issues.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle RAC and Data Guard concepts.
  • Goldengate expertise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with open-source databases like MySQL, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • Knowledge of backup, HA & DR strategies.
