Remote WordPress Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled remote web developer to build high-quality, responsive WordPress websites from Figma designs.

  • Create pixel-perfect, functional WordPress websites from design files.
  • E nsure all websites are cross-browser compatible and true to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team to discuss project requirements and deliver projects on time.
  • Manage deployments, troubleshoot hosting/DNS/SSL issues, and ensure smooth launches of websites.
  • Debug, test, and fix errors efficiently while maintaining clean code.
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Work with plugins, integrations, and occasional custom development (PHP/MySQL, APIs).
  • Communicate progress regularly and respond promptly to messages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Native-level English for clear communication.
  • Strong proficiency with WordPress, Figma, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs and 3rd-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with page builders and deployment tools.
