Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory records and overseeing the movement of assets and materials within a warehouse setting.

• Collaborate with the inventory team to determine current order status and forecast future needs.
• Compile and maintain accurate documentation of stock levels, monitor reorder points, and initiate actions to replenish stock as needed.
• Utilize equipment such as hand trolleys, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks, trailers, and within the storage facility.
• Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility.
• Count, receive, store, ship, and replenish inventory goods associated with the warehouse.
• Identify and label material, record, assign, and place it in its assigned locations on the shelves to maintain inventory.
• Perform and report cycle counts assigned by the inventory supervisor or manager.
• Prepare and secure outgoing inventory orders for shipment to destination.
• Pull and verify inventory listed on incoming orders sent to the warehouse.
• Stage secured outgoing inventory in designated staging areas.
• Perform pre-use inspections and preventative maintenance of lifting equipment assigned to the warehouse.
• Ensure material is handled, packaged, or stored in a way that does not cause damage or harm to people, process, or product.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within warehouse management is necessary.
• Ability to collaborate with others and have good team-building skills is essential.
• Ability and willingness to use warehousing equipment, including pallet jacks and wrapping machines is required.
• A positive attitude, with a high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation is desirable.
• Capable of using own initiative and working at times unsupervised is an asset.
• Proficient typing and general computer skills are required.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure with little supervision is desirable.
• Performing transactions in ERP systems, such as JDE or One C is an asset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends is an advantage.
