Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance department for the O&M site at Gudha Malani. This role is responsible for managing all technical operations, ensuring asset integrity, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in offshore maintenance, technical operations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance department, ensuring optimal performance of vessel equipment, machinery, and utilities to support daily production.
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance to maximize asset reliability.
  • Supervise, train, and develop the technical crew, ensuring competency, adherence to work procedures, and awareness of safety and pollution prevention measures.
  • Act as a key decision-maker in the vessels management team, supporting the Master in operational and maintenance-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including the Oil Record Book, Engine Log Book, technical reports, and equipment manuals.
  • Implement and oversee permit-to-work and isolation procedures, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while maintaining cost control.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to drive continuous improvement in safety and reliability.
  • Participate in emergency response planning, drills, and incident mitigation as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Support asset integrity management, contributing to vessel performance optimization and maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams to align maintenance operations with company objectives, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience .
  • Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment, marine systems, and asset integrity management.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for maintenance planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with classification society regulations, ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, and industry standards.
