Quantitative Trading Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Trader with expertise in trading, market dynamics, and quantitative methods.

This position offers hands-on experience with trading strategies, data analysis, and statistical modeling applied to digital asset markets.

Quantitative Traders will collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers and report directly to the Head of Research.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the fast-paced world of fintech and cryptocurrency trading.

Responsibilities include conducting research on cryptocurrency markets, developing and backtesting algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods, analyzing large datasets across multiple exchanges to uncover patterns and identify trading opportunities, creating research reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, collaborating with engineers to integrate research into production trading systems, and supporting the development of risk management and portfolio optimization models.

  • Conduct research on cryptocurrency markets, including price modeling, volatility analysis, and market microstructure.
  • Develop and backtest algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods.
  • Analyze large datasets across multiple exchanges to uncover patterns and identify trading opportunities.
  • Create research reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate research into production trading systems.
  • Support the development of risk management and portfolio optimization models.

QUALIFICATIONS (not mandatory):

A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, econometrics, computational finance, physics).

A strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or econometrics (e.g., probability, linear algebra, calculus).

Programming experience in Python, R, MATLAB, or related tools.

Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and trading concepts.

Experience with data libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, and statistical modeling techniques.

Interest in time series analysis and algorithmic trading strategies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clear communication and ability to present research findings effectively.
